HG The Origin #13 Char Aznable MS-05S Zaku I Custom

The MS-05S Zaku I Custom is a Limited Production Mobile Suit used by Char Aznable to replace his MS-05 Zaku I. The MS-05S Zaku I Custom benefits from several internal improvements for a significant boost in maneuverability. Char’s MS-05S Zaku I Custom also features updated armor components designed for the MS-06C Zaku II, which would enter mass production shortly after. Char Aznable used the MS-05S Zaku I Custom in the early stages of the One Year War alongside The Principality of Zeon’s Lunar Attack Force, helping to lay the groundwork for the successful completion of Operation British.

Articulation –

The HG Zaku I Custom borrows most of its construction from the previously released HG The Origin #09 MS-05 Zaku I Denim / Slender Custom, only molded in Char’s unique color scheme. The HG Zaku I (Char Aznable Custom) features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. This model includes all the markings necessary to recreate the Mobile Suit’s appearance during the One Week Battle.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Zaku I Custom utilizes a belt-fed variant of the iconic Zaku Machine Gun as its primary weapon. This weapon comes attached to a small ammo container that builders can connect to the Mobile Suit’s backpack. The HG Zaku I Custom can equip the Heat Hawk attached to its side skirt armor for close-quarters engagements. Bandai opted to provide two different Heat Hawks to replicate its active and inactive states.
